What Monomyth is
The studio
Monomyth is a small production company built around a simple idea: make the person, process, and point of view impossible to miss.
We develop courses for Proko, long-form YouTube conversations and field pieces, and original IP meant to earn a real fanbase. Editorial, production, and business development live in the same room, so an idea can move from first conversation to finished work without losing its character.

What we make
Production lanes
Instructor development, curriculum architecture, shoots, edits, workshops, and launches. Recent work includes the 120-lesson Ultimate Sketching Course with Rembert Montald.
1 Hour Art School, Sketchy Van, studio interviews, convention reporting, and tightly cut editorial pieces built around the actual person, not a content template.
Original characters and worlds developed through story, visual rules, fan-first publishing, decks, prototypes, and the partnerships that can move an idea into production.
How we operate
The teacher, artist, or world should lead the format. We start by finding what only this project can say.
Good art is full of decisions. We keep the searching, mistakes, and breakthroughs that make the work useful.
Pace matters, but personality matters more. We cut for clarity, momentum, and the human moment that earns trust.
A course can become a community. A conversation can become a series. An image can become a world.
Owners and team
The people

Co-founder / CEO
Kristian is an artist, interviewer, and producer who has spent years making art education feel more like a great conversation than a lecture. He produces courses with Proko, hosts 1 Hour Art School and Sketchy Van, and builds creative teams around instructors, artists, and ideas worth following.

Co-founder / COO
John is a media executive and serial entrepreneur with more than three decades across comics, publishing, games, and collectibles. He co-founded WildStorm and Cryptozoic, served as Marvel's Publisher and a senior executive at DC, and brings the operating experience to turn strong creative into durable IP.
Editor / Producer
Emily is the editorial center of the team, shaping interviews, lessons, and field footage into work with pace, clarity, and personality. She protects the human moments while making every project easier to follow and harder to click away from.
New course. New show. New world.
We will help find the format, build the team, and make the thing.
